NJROTC is closing at Saluda High School. The Navy has pulled out due to low enrollment. They will no longer fund the program. An alternative has been proposed, The Navy National Defense Cadet Corps or NNDCC. It will look just like NJROTC but will be funded solely by the School District. There will still be a drill team and a rifle team that will compete around the area, cadets will still be in uniform on Wednesday's and at football and basketball games. At this point it not certain whether it will be a full or part time class.
