As the newly appointed principal, I am so proud of our students and teachers for making Saluda Middle School such a wonderful place to be.  I am excited to be a part of the innovative culture and look forward to working with faculty, staff, and parents to help our students be successful.

                                 Meet the Principal

I am a resident of Saluda County and have been a part of Saluda County School District since 2003.  I am the proud mother of three children, who are also students in our schools.  I enjoy being active in our community and schools, and appreciate the opportunity to work together with families of the students we serve.

I have a Bachelor's of Science in Special Education from Lander University and a Master's in Educational Administration from Clemson University.  I am pursuing a PhD in Educational Leadership from Clemson University, and consider myself a life-long learner.

I began my teaching career as a middle school teacher 13 years ago in a neighboring district, but "came home" to teach students here in Saluda.  I felt a strong calling to give back to a community that did so much for me growing up, and knew that I wanted to be here to make a difference in the lives of families in Saluda County.  I am so proud to say that I can continue that work as principal of Saluda Middle School.
