  • New Network Switches

    We have recently installed new switches in our schools to increase the network speed within the buildings.  Most of the switches we replaced were in excess of 10 years old.  Our schools now have a 1 GB backbone.  We still only have 10 MB for the Internet, but we hope to be able to increase our bandwidth in the near future to assist with online testing and the increased need for research and software applications.

  • YouTube videos about Google Apps

    There are many resources on YouTube about using Google Apps.  Here is one video that explains Google Apps for Education.  You can search for specific "how to" videos about how to share a document, how to chat, and much more.  I caution you to look at the date the video was published because we are using the 2012 version of Google Apps.

  • Google Apps for Education

    We have just started using Google Apps for Education and the response has been very favorable among our educational users.  They have the ability to share documents, spreadsheets, calendars, and more.  Since we are focusing on Common Core, this software will offer many collaboration opportunities.
